Sephora Collection Beauty On The Fly Bag ($4.95)
I always see beauty buffs with their pre-approved plastic bags to take on the plane and I’m always ripe with jealousy. They are so much prettier than the rubbish sandwich bags you get in the airport and I felt it was time to get one! It’s just one of those handy bags for storing your hand luggage liquids, plus it’s easy to clean if product spills inside. It’s only $5 to buy, but if you buy three minis in store, you get it for free!
Sephora Collection Blotting Papers ($8)
I have really oily skin, which tends to sweat a lot in the heat, so blotting papers are well and truly my best friend! I really feel that you can’t have enough in your stash and I was really intrigued by these Charcoal variant! At $8 they are a bargain as you get 100 inside – I can’t wait to report back on these!
Sephora Collection Double-Ended Blemish Extractor ($17)
Another essential product in my eyes! I’ve had a Blemish Extractor from The Body Shop for longer than I care to admit, so I felt like it was time to give it a little upgrade. It’s quite simply a long-handled, stainless steel, double loop extractor. You use the small loop for white heads and a flat side to extract blackheads.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Rollerball ($27)
The USA is the home of the travel fragrance and although they are starting to make their way here, they are still pretty hard to track down. These little rollerballs are perfect for your handbag and it means you can stay fresh on the go. Daisy Dream is one of my favourite scents - with notes of Blackberry, Grapefruit, Pear, Jasmine, Lychee, Blue Wisteria, White Woods, Musks and Coconut Water.
Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist PRO Glow to Go Highlight & Contour Palette ($23)
I’ve had my eye on the Tarteist line from Tarte Cosmetics for the longest time. Although I didn’t need the full sized, six shade PRO Glow palette – I did opt for the more portable three shade travel palette. It arrives in the most lovely, sleek packaging and features three luxurious shades, which Tarte say were “inspired by professional makeup techniques”. Inside the palette there are two intense highlighting powders, plus a matte contour hue – the perfect travel combination!
Tarte Make Believe In Yourself Eye & Cheek Palette ($30)
I have to admit that I really stalk Tarte, but somehow this beauty never made its way onto my radar. I’m a big fan of these Tarte palettes – not only is the quality amazing, but they also travel really well. Tarte describe this palette as their ‘unicorn-inspired eyeshadow palette’ which 10 pretty eyeshadow shades and a lovely strobing eye and cheek highlighter in the middle.
Sephora Favourites Sunkissed Glow ($45)
Now this product was actually sold out online, so I was really, really happy to find it in store! The Sunkissed Glow set is one of the latest sets from Sephora Favourites and it has everything to give you that bronzed glow this summer. With products from Marc Jacobs, NARS, Hourglass, Becca, Laura Mercier, Too Faced and Milk – you can get your hands on a lot of cult classics for a fraction of the retail price!
Mini Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer ($12) and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($13)
These two concealers are my absolute favourites and I’ve been dying to get some mini versions so I can have extras for my handbag and when I travel. The Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer high-coverage concealer, which is really easy to blend, but offers buildable, weightless coverage. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a drier, thicker formulation, which means it’s fantastic for concealing more stubborn marks.
Mini IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ ($15)
While I know we can now get the amazing IT Cosmetics here in the UK, I was keen to get my hands of a travel size of this cult-classic, just to check I like it! It’s the famous, bestselling CC cream from IT Cosmetics, which offers a full-coverage finish with a SPF 50+ sunscreen. On paper it’s heaven, so I can’t wait to see if it lives up to the hype!
